Honest answers to the questions members ask most.
The basics
What is The Last Olive?
A private, members-only community for sober and sober-curious women. Built by a woman who lived it. Inside: foundational lessons, sober skills, on-demand and live workouts, a zero-proof drink catalog, mocktail socials, weekly group calls, a community wall, and daily 1:1 chat with the founder.
Who is this for?
Women questioning their relationship with alcohol — whether you're sober-curious and just cracking the door, or you've been fighting this for years. No diagnosis required. No prerequisites. If something in you said yes when you read the landing page, you're in the right place.
Is this a recovery program, treatment, or therapy?
None of those. The Last Olive is peer support + curated curriculum from lived experience, not clinical care. The 1:1 mentor chat is founder access to me — voice notes, real conversation, someone in your corner who's been there. It is not therapy, not clinical counseling, and not a substitute for either. If you're in active crisis or you need clinical help, please keep a licensed provider close. The app includes crisis line info on every page.
What does the founder do?
Christina built The Last Olive after a decade of struggling with sobriety. She's a certified fitness instructor with a long career in corporate events + digital community. She's not a clinician or a doctor — she's someone who lived it and is sharing what worked. The neuroscience pieces of the curriculum draw on Dr. Marc Lewis's work — developmental neuroscientist, author of "The Biology of Desire" — on addiction as a deeply learned pattern; the lived-experience pieces are her own.
Membership + billing
What does it cost right now?
Free during the beta. No card on file, no charge, no trial countdown. Beta members get full access to everything — the lessons, sober skills, fitness, mocktails, community wall, group calls, and 1:1 mentor chat with Christina. A paid membership rate ($99/month founding rate) will be introduced after the beta cycle. Beta members who joined during this period will be offered the founding rate first — locked in for as long as their membership stays active.
When will paid membership start?
After the beta cycle. We’ll give beta members notice before any billing begins — nobody’s card gets charged out of nowhere. When the paid tier launches, the founding rate ($99/month) is locked in for beta members for the lifetime of their membership. New sign-ups after the beta will join at a higher rate.
What does the founding rate get me later?
Full access to everything inside The Last Olive at $99/month, locked in for as long as your membership stays active. Even after we raise the rate for new members, founding members stay at $99.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. During the beta there's nothing to cancel — no card on file. Once paid membership launches, you can cancel any time in Settings → Membership (or email hello@thelastolive.app). You keep access through the end of your current billing period; no charge after.
What if I can't afford it right now?
The point of this is keeping you in the sober space — not the price tag. If money is what’s between you and the door, email Christina directly at
hello@thelastolive.app and she’ll work something out with you. No script, no shame.
How it works
Do I have to talk to anyone?
No. You can use everything — read the lessons, watch workouts, scroll the wall, browse zero-proof drinks — without ever messaging anyone or posting publicly. The mentor chat with Christina is there if you want it; you can sit quietly for as long as you need.
Is what I post / message private?
Your mentor chat with Christina is private — only she sees it. The Wall is visible to all members; only your first name and photo show, never your last name or email. Everything else (start date, region, your why) is private to you. See the
Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
How do I install it on my phone?
On iPhone: open the site in Safari → tap the share icon → "Add to Home Screen." On Android: open in Chrome → menu → "Install app." The icon lives on your home screen and opens like any other app.
What if I'm not on my phone?
The full app works in any modern browser — laptop, tablet, work computer. Sign in with the same email/password (or Apple/Google) and your data follows you.
Real life
Do I need to be sober to be a part of this app?
No. The Last Olive is for sober and sober-curious women — wherever you are on the spectrum is welcome. You can be just starting to question your drinking, deep into a long sober stretch, or anywhere in between. The app meets you where you are. Day count is for you if you want it; nothing in here counts against you if you don't.
Do you support harm reduction? Or is The Last Olive abstinence-only?
The Curious path in the curriculum is for women still figuring out their relationship with alcohol — that path is harm-reduction-compatible. The Practicing and Committed paths are abstinence-focused. You pick the path that fits where you actually are; you can move between them as you change. Christina meets you there.
What's the privacy of what I share with Christina in the 1:1 chat?
What you tell Christina in 1:1 stays between you. She never shares members' names, stories, voice notes, or messages — not on social, not in marketing, not in conversation with other members. The only exception is if you tell her you're in immediate danger to yourself or someone else, in which case she'll point you at emergency resources and ask you to reach out to them. Beyond that, the conversation is yours.
Will other members see when I sign up or post?
Other members see you on the Wall when you post (first name + photo only). They don't see when you join, when you check in, when you message Christina, or anything you do privately.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your data is permanently removed. If you want to keep the account but pause it, just cancel your subscription instead — you stop paying but your data stays in case you come back.
